HOW YOU CAN HELP VOLUNTEER
You can volunteer for a day, a week, a month or more - our volunteer programme allows local volunteers to join the community work, health clinics, education in schools, support of feeding & teaching the underprivileged children of Mbuala, or join in any of our campaign projects.

We also offer local or international volunteers the opportunity to stay for a week or longer for a contribution-based donations. You will stay at HARRT HQ, Khaya Themba Bush Camp, and will play a crucial part in caring for animals in need and living on a 21-hectare farm on the edge of Kruger National Park.

Volunteering is WELLNESS - the perfect getaway holiday at the same time as it being rewarding. You will be 'giving back', whether to animals, children, nature or giving yourself time for YOU.

"The best few weeks of my life. I learnt so much, I did new things every day and had experiences I will never forget. I've volunteered at projects all over southern Africa and HAART stands out above them all. The sheer commitment and passion from Sam and all the team are a sight to behold. Every day is different and Khaya Themba is such a special place. Thank you so much for this opportunity, I will be back"
